The laws of armed conflict state that journalists in war zones must be treated as civilians and are entitled to protection, provided that they take no part in hostilities. But Israel's ongoing assault on Gaza has killed reporters on a near weekly basis since October, making it the deadliest war for media workers. Ashraf Shannon reports from Gaza.
