Dhofar's annual tourism grows to one million visitors
Tourism in the Omani governate of Dhofar has boomed with an annual growth of nearly 20 percent. In 2023, more than one million visitors were recorded, and similar numbers are expected this year. Salalah is now a popular haven for visitors from Oman and the Gulf seeking relief from the summer heat. Mustafa Oguz Karsli reports
