American actor Jesse Eisenberg, who played Mark Zuckerberg in the 2010 film 'The Social Network,' says he does not want to be associated with the role, accusing the Facebook CEO of making vulnerable people feel even more threatened.

In January 2025, Meta announced it would replace independent fact-checkers with X-style “community notes,” allowing users to comment on post accuracy.
