A bridge between divided communities in Kosovo

The history and politics of Kosovo are complicated, and nowhere more so than in Mitrovica, a small city in the north of the country. A bridge there has become not just a physical symbol of the clash between Albanian and Serbian communities, but also a metaphor for the division in the entire country.
