Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has urged the West take the conflict in his country seriously, and impose tougher sanctions on Russia. Zelenskyy has also pleaded with Western nations to send more heavy military weapons as soon as possible, to give his country a chance against Russian forces in the east.
