Darren Aronofsky's cult classic Requiem for A Dream was released 20 years ago. It was one of the most groundbreaking films of the 2000s. Back then the media called the Brooklyn native the next Stanley Kubrick. Today, we look to see if Aronofsky managed to live up to that claim.
