Filming Israeli troops could be banned

In the wake of the IDF killing 116 protesters and injuring more than 13,000 in Gaza, Israel’s Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman has backed a proposed new law which criminalises filming the Israeli Defence Force. The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate says that the bill is an attempt to keep Israeli soldiers from being punished for human rights violations.
