Why I became an aid worker

Nagham Awada, an aid worker with the International Committee of the Red Cross, survived the civil war in Lebanon and became a refugee more than once. Her life experiences compelled her to do more than just report on conflict zones. She eventually became a humanitarian aid worker. #WHD2019 #WorldHumanitarianDay #RedCross #Women #ICRC #aidworkers #Iraq #migrants #refugees #documentary
