Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has declared victory in his fight against the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF), after government soldiers forced rebel forces out of the Tigrayan regional capital of Mekelle. The TPLF however says the battle isn’t over.
