Africa Matters: Nigerian farmers forced to pay armed gangs
The UN says more than 26 million people in Nigeria don't have enough food to eat. It's mainly due to security challenges, farmer-herder clashes and extreme weather patterns. But a recent report points to another threat farmers are being forced to pay huge levies to armed gangs before they're allowed to grow any food.
