French President Emmanuel Macron says France will expand its nuclear arsenal and stop disclosing the size of its stockpile, calling it a necessary step to bolster Europe’s defence, not the start of a new arms race.

All this as the Middle East is on the brink of war after Israel and the US bombed Iran, allegedly to prevent it from developing nuclear weapons.
