US border wall with Mexico threatens wildlife
President Trump requested $1.6 billion dollars to build three segments of the border wall with Mexico. There's already more than 1,000 km of fencing on the US-Mexico border, and it's threatening some of the rarest animals in North America.

Tijuana River Estuary is a protected site home to a variety of marine life and birds, as well as several endangered species. However, President Trump's plan to build a border wall could be putting it all in jeopardy.

 President Trump's wall is arguably one of the most contentious of his campaign promises. And if realised, it could effect far more than just the people who live along the country's border.
