US President Donald Trump says the US will stop providing financial aid to Israel by the end of the year, claiming he has reached an agreement with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump said Israel no longer needed US funding, adding that he would support continuing the aid if it did.
The US has long been Israel's biggest military backer, providing billions of dollars in annual assistance.
