Türkiye's Communications Directorate's fan and media experience zone in Los Angeles drew thousands of visitors during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Branded the Turkish Vibe Zone under the slogan "Türkiye is Here," the venue was set up at Gloria Molina Grand Park, covering about 3,050 square metres (nearly 33,000 square feet).
The venue remained open through June 26 [1900 Los Angeles time, June 25], following the Türkiye–US match at Los Angeles Stadium.
It had hosted promotional activities, including live screenings of Turkish National Football Team matches, media events and fan engagement programmes.
Visitors experienced a wide range of attractions, including a giant screen for live broadcasts, a media production studio, a photo booth, a Turkish cuisine area, protocol reception facilities, interview spaces, a press centre, and sponsor exhibition stands.
The press centre had served as the main coordination hub for Turkish journalists covering the tournament, providing facilities for interviews, live reports and television broadcasts.
Before facing the United States, Türkiye had played Paraguay in nearby San Francisco on June 19.
Held alongside the FIFA World Cup in the United States, the venue had also served as a cultural bridge connecting the Turkish diaspora with related communities across the region.
Among the visitors on the fourth day were former Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, Türkiye's Ambassador to Washington Sedat Onal, Consul General in Los Angeles Menekse Onuk and former national footballer Burak Yilmaz.
Varank and Onal toured the venue, met Turkish citizens and other visitors, and received briefings on the activities taking place throughout the site.
