In Gaza, reporting the truth can get you killed and Israel has made it a pattern against journalists.

Israel’s deliberate targeting of Palestinian journalists is not new, but the toll has now surpassed that of all late 20th- and 21st-century wars combined.

The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) warns that the surge in killings and detentions of reporters has created ‘a news void’, leaving potential Israeli war crimes unrecorded.
