New strikes were reported on Tuesday across the Middle East, including Israeli bombardment on Lebanon and a drone attack on the US embassy in Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh.

Israel and the US have carried out military strikes on Iran since Saturday, killing senior security officials, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, as well as resulting in hundreds of other fatalities and injuries.

Tehran has responded by launching missile barrages and drones towards Israel and the US-linked sites in countries across the region, and showed no sign of abating as the conflict entered its fourth day on Tuesday.

Nine Arab countries, including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq, have reported damage over the past three days, as Iran responds to the Israeli and American aggression.

Here are the latest attacks by Iran on the targets in Israel and the Gulf countries.

Explosions in Tehran

Loud explosions rocked Iran's capital as the war entered its fourth day.

The blasts were heard in northern Tehran, but it was not immediately clear what was hit. Iranian media also reported explosions in Karaj city, outside of Tehran, as well as the central city of Isfahan.

Drones in Oman, Iraq

Drones targeted an Omani port on Tuesday, hitting a fuel tank, state media said, adding that the damage was contained "without any human casualties".

Oman had been acting as mediator in talks between the US and Iran over Tehran's nuclear programme before the attacks on Iran.

Bahrain, Qatar say they intercepted over 170 Iranian missiles, dozens of drones

Bahrain and Qatar said on Tuesday their air defence systems intercepted and destroyed a total of more than 170 missiles and dozens of drones launched from Iran over the past three days, as Tehran continues attacks on US-linked sites in the region in response to the ongoing Israeli-US military offensive.

The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force said its air defence systems destroyed and shot down 70 missiles and 76 drones launched from Iran since the attacks began on Saturday.

The command said in a statement that it remains “determined to confront all Iranian terrorist attacks that continue to randomly target various areas of the kingdom with missiles and drones,” adding that the “ongoing terrorist aggression” caused material damage to civilian property and infrastructure.

Bahrain’s interior ministry urged citizens early on Tuesday to head to the nearest safe location after air raid sirens sounded. Arab media outlets, including Al Arabiya, reported that Bahrain intercepted Iranian aerial targets over the capital Manama, where explosions were heard in the area.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps said on Tuesday that its naval forces had destroyed the main command building and headquarters of a US airbase in Bahrain in what it described as the 14th wave of “Operation Promise of the Truth 4”.

The IRGC said in a statement that it had launched a large-scale drone and missile attack on the base in the Sheikh Isa area early in the morning, with 20 drones and three missiles striking their intended targets.

Qatar asks citizens to remain calm

Separately, Qatar’s defence ministry said it detected the launch of three cruise missiles, 101 ballistic missiles, and 39 suicide drones towards its airspace since the attacks began.

It said all missiles and 24 drones were intercepted, but did not disclose whether the remaining drones caused damage or casualties.

The military also intercepted two ballistic missiles early Tuesday, the country's defence ministry said, after AFP reporters heard loud explosions across Doha.

The Qatari ministry also called on citizens, residents, and visitors to remain calm, follow instructions from security authorities, and avoid rumours, relying instead on official statements and information.

US embassy in Riyadh hit

Explosions were heard and clouds of smoke seen in Riyadh's diplomatic quarter, home to foreign embassies and diplomats' residences.

Two drones hit the US embassy in the Saudi Arabian capital and sparked a fire, a Saudi defence ministry spokesman said.

The embassy confirmed an attack and urged people to stay away, saying it would be closed on Tuesday.

US embassy in Kuwait closed indefinitely

The US embassy in Kuwait said it was closed until further notice, a day after an AFP correspondent saw smoke rising from the mission following Iranian attacks on the country.

Iran 'will burn any ship' in Hormuz

A general in Iran's Revolutionary Guards threatened to "burn any ship" seeking to navigate the Strait of Hormuz, a vital route for oil and gas shipments.

"We will also attack oil pipelines and will not allow a single drop of oil to leave the region. Oil price will reach $200 in the coming days," General Sardar Jabbari said in a post on the Guards' Telegram channel.

Saudi defence ministry says eight drones intercepted near Riyadh, Al-Kharj

Saudi Arabia's defence ministry said that it had intercepted more than half a dozen drones near the capital Riyadh and the city of Al-Kharj.

"Eight drones were intercepted and destroyed near the cities of Riyadh and Al-Kharj," said defence ministry spokesman Major General Turki al-Malki on X.

Explosions in Tel Aviv

As the war entered its fourth day on Tuesday, explosions shook buildings across Tel Aviv as air defences intercepted incoming Iranian missiles.

Israel attacked the complex that houses Iran's state broadcaster IRIB in Tehran and targeted Hezbollah militants in towns across Lebanon.

According to the Iranian Red Crescent, the death toll from US and Israeli air strikes since Saturday has gone up to 555, including at least 165 schoolgirls.
