The UK has sanctioned two far-right Israeli ministers — national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and finance minister Bezalel Smotrich — for fuelling "serious abuses of Palestinian human rights" and "inciting extremist violence."

Both face travel bans and frozen assets, following similar sanctions from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other nations.
