Brazil beat Scotland 3-0 to win World Cup Group C, while Morocco secured second place with a 4-2 victory over Haiti.
Vinicius Junior scored twice on Wednesday for Brazil, before Matheus Cunha scored the third and last goal of the match at the 60th minute.
The match also saw veteran striker Neymar make his long-awaited appearance in the 2026 World Cup, after struggling with a calf injury since before the tournament.
Scotland must wait to see whether they advance to the last 32 as one of the best third-placed teams.
Morocco vs Haiti
In the other group game, Morocco beat Haiti 4-2 to secure second place and advance to the knockout stage.
Haiti took the lead in the match twice, at the 10th minute, following an own goal by goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, and then by Wilson Isidor at the 43rd minute.
Achraf Hakimi scored the equaliser of the first goal at the 30th minute, while Ismael Saibari scored the second equaliser in the stoppage time of the first half.
In the second half, Soufiane Rahimi scored Morocco's leading goal at the 78th minute, and Gessime Yassine scored the fourth and last goal at the 89th minute.
