Kate Stegeman is a South African freelance multi-media journalist who has produced for shows including The Big Debate (broadcast on eNCA) and been published in Business Day newspaper and the Daily Maverick news analysis site, amongst others. Stegeman has recently worked in Afghanistan and Kenya (Somalia focus), has a Masters degree in Violence, Conflict Development from the School of Oriental and African studies in London.
