Turkey to open world's busiest airport in October

The airport is being built in Istanbul at a cost of more than $12.5 billion, and it is expected to serve around 200 million passengers annually.

Istanbul's third airport is expected to be the largest airport in the world with a capacity to serve nearly 200 million passengers annually.

The inauguration of the airport is planned on October 29, 2018.

The airport will host up to 3,000 flights landing and departing each day.
