Iraq's lawmakers elect Abdul Latif Rashid as new president
For more than a year, Iraq has experienced persistent political turmoil and parliamentary deadlock. After several attempts, the Iraqi parliament has finally elected Kurdish politician Abdul Latif Rashid as the new President. The move paves way to end a political deadlock that's plagued the country for a year. Sena Saylan explains.
