Controversial 'Ferdinand' on big screen | Cinema | Showcase
Published in 1936, it's one the most controversial children's books ever written. Munro Leaf's The Story of Ferdinand has been accused of promoting anarchism, fascism and communism and was unavailable in many countries for years. Now, an animated 3-D film titled 'Ferdinand' expands the childhood fable into a howling adventure.
