Coup pushes global uranium prices up, threatens supply
On July 26, members of Niger's presidential guard initiated a coup, overthrowing democratically elected president Mohamed Bazoum. After the military took control, members of the Economic Community of West African States imposed severe sanctions. The recent coup also threatens energy security and access for France and the EU to one key commodity - uranium. Emre Boz has more.
