When his parents escaped North Korea without him, nine-year-old Timothy Cho was marked for life as a “Son of a Betrayer”. He too would find his way out, twice. The first — he was deported back to North Korea by China and tortured for daring to leave. The second time he finally made it to the UK. Timothy joins The InnerView from London to share his harrowing experiences and raise awareness about what life is like for people inside North Korea.
