Could Israeli and Palestinian states live side by side in peace?
Despite decades of discussions, plans for a two-state solution have stalled due to a lack of support from Israel and its allies. This has allowed Israel's illegal occupation of Palestinian territories to continue, leading to escalating violence. Recent events in Gaza, deemed plausible genocide by the International Court of Justice, have prompted some of Israel's EU allies to recognise a Palestinian state, but does this recognition bring Palestinians any closer to achieving actual statehood?
