For most of the past decade and a half, rather than being on the front benches, he controlled the Conservative Party’s backbench MPs. Brady was the man who told Prime Ministers when to go, and organised the contests for their replacements - overseeing five premiers in total. Ahead of the release of his tell-all book, Lord Graham Brady sits down with Westminster Watch for his first television interview since leaving the House of Commons.
