Westminster Watch: Knife Crime
Knife crime is on the rise in Britain and stabbings are increasingly making the headlines. Successive governments have pledged to crack down on the scourge of knife violence but it increasingly looks as if authorities have lost control of the issue. This week Nick is joined by Yvonne Lawson, a campaigner who runs a foundation in memory of her son who she tragically lost to knife crime, as well as Aaron Roach Bridgeman, a documentary filmmaker who focuses on gangs and youth violence, and Danny Shaw, who advised the current Home Secretary on policy while she was in opposition. Westminster Watch is broadcast out of London and presented by politician-turned-presenter Nick de Bois. From fierce debate to reflective thinking, Nick offers you the inside track on all the happenings inside the corridors of power in Westminster. Tune in every Monday at 17:30 GMT on TRT World.
