Meet Arjeta Puca: The Woman Behind Albania's First Military Vehicle and its Global Success
Arjeta Puca is an Albanian entrepreneur who created Albania's first domestic military vehicle called Shota, named after an Albanian female warrior. She founded her company Timak in Tirana eight years ago. The company produces ambulances and defence and security vehicles. Today their vehicles are in service in more than 20 countries. She also works with the UN, World Bank and NATO. As a young woman, Puca says she wants her company to empower girls and women in male-dominated sectors. Omer Saraci visited Puca's company and spoke with her. Across The Balkans, hosted by Nafisa Latic, is TRT World’s programme that focuses specifically on the issues and fault lines shaping Southeast Europe today.
