In collaboration with the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language in Spain, Meta’s technique uses non-invasive brain recordings from magnetoencephalography (MEG) and electroencephalography (EEG) to measure brain activity. 

 Although the technology is not yet usable outside the lab, researchers hope this technology will one day assist those without the ability to speak.
