Bosnia and Herzegovina is seeking closer integration with Europe’s financial system. The country wants to join the Single Euro Payments Area, which could make euro transfers faster and cheaper for businesses and citizens. But political divisions are putting that ambition at risk. And as Bosnia looks to deepen its financial ties with Europe, it is also facing renewed scrutiny over weaknesses in its fight against money laundering. Economic analyst and Member of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Admir Cavalic speaks about Bosnia’s SEPA integration.
