Former Ecuadorian ambassador to UK speaks on Julian Assange
In 2012, Wikileaks' Julian Assange walked into the Ecuadorian embassy in London seeking political asylum. He was escaping possible extradition to Sweden where he faced rape charges . Six years later, Assange is still held up inside the embassy with little hope of leaving anytime soon. We speak to Ana Alban, who was Ecuador’s ambassador to the United Kingdom when Assange walked into the embassy.
