China's first domestic aircraft makes international debut

The Singapore Airshow has kicked off with various aerospace and aviation industry leaders and defence contractors displaying the best they have to offer. For the first time, China will showcase and fly its domestically-produced C919 narrow-body commercial aircraft. And as major airline companies like Boeing struggle to regain consumer confidence following a string of accidents, analysts say the event may shift the spotlight onto aircraft from China.
