An Israeli airstrike has killed at least five Palestinians in an apartment building in Gaza City, health and civil defence service officials said.
Flames engulfed the apartment after the attack on Saturday, which also left several others badly wounded, as Israeli drones flew overhead.
The attack came after three Palestinians were killed and four others, including a child, were wounded in Israeli attacks in other parts of Gaza.
One Palestinian was killed in an Israeli drone strike targeting the courtyard of a residential home behind the Al-Razi Medical Complex in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
Medical sources told Anadolu that the body of Ibrahim Abu Uwaimer was brought to Al-Awda Hospital in the camp following the strike.
Earlier, a medical source said that Ahmed al-Ramlawi was killed in an Israeli strike targeting a tent on the rooftop of a home near Palestine Stadium west of Gaza City.
In another attack, a medical source told Anadolu that Ibrahim Munir al-Masri was killed and another Palestinian was injured in an Israeli strike targeting a gathering of people near the Ansar junction southwest of Gaza City.

Bloodshed continues in Gaza
Earlier, three Palestinians, including a girl and an elderly woman, were injured by Israeli army gunfire targeting Street 5 in the Al-Mawasi area and the vicinity of Hamad City northwest of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, the source said.
Witnesses told Anadolu that Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire on residential areas and tents sheltering displaced people in northern, eastern and southern Khan Younis.
Israeli warships also opened fire on the coast of Khan Younis, according to the witnesses.
Local sources said that the Israeli army carried out a major demolition campaign targeting homes and buildings inside areas under its control in the Al-Tuffah neighbourhood east of Gaza City.
Israeli warplanes also carried out at least two strikes on evacuated buildings east of the Al-Tuffah and Shujaiya neighbourhoods, with no casualties reported, according to the sources.
In central Gaza, Israeli artillery shelled eastern areas of Deir al-Balah and the Al-Maghazi refugee camp amid gunfire in the vicinity, the sources said.
Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement had killed 1,439 Palestinians and wounded 5,052 others, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
Since Oct. 8, 2023, Israel has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and wounded over 175,000 others in Gaza, while around 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been destroyed.
