Palestinian children have suffered severe breathing difficulties after Israeli forces fired tear gas towards an olive press in the occupied West Bank, whilst two men were detained during separate military incursions, Palestinian media reported.
Voice of Palestine radio reported that Israeli soldiers discharged tear gas directly towards an olive press and a civilian vehicle in the town of Aqraba, southeast of Nablus, leaving several children struggling to breathe from gas inhalation.
Separately, Israeli forces detained two young men inside a residential property in al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.
Video footage shared by local activists showed Israeli troops deployed throughout the village, with images appearing to show soldiers forcing a young Palestinian man to remove a national flag from a local memorial at the village entrance.

Widespread incursions
Official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that Israeli units also raided the villages of Nabi Saleh and Deir Abu Mashal, northwest of Ramallah, deploying stun grenades against residential neighbourhoods, though no casualties or arrests were registered.
Near occupied East Jerusalem, Israeli forces discharged stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards vehicles waiting at a roundabout in the town of al-Ram, according to the Palestinian Jerusalem Governorate.
The dispersal coincided with the closure of the Jaba military checkpoint by Israeli troops, causing severe traffic congestion across the area.
Further north, clashes broke out between local residents and Israeli forces during an army raid on Madama village, south of Nablus.
Assaults by the Israeli military and illegal Israeli settlers have intensified sharply across the occupied territory since the eruption of Israel's genocide on Gaza in October 2023, encompassing killings, mass detentions, home demolitions, the burning of properties, land bulldozing, and the forced displacement of Palestinian communities.
