Israeli forces have killed a Palestinian farmer in central Gaza and wounded another Palestinian in the south, while two others, including a child, were injured by Israeli fire in the occupied West Bank.
A medical source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said on Saturday that the body of Mohammed Fayeq al-Attar was brought to the hospital after he was shot by Israeli forces east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
Witnesses said an Israeli quadcopter drone opened fire on al-Attar while he was working on his farmland, killing him.
The attack came as Israeli military vehicles advanced beyond areas under Israeli control east of Al-Masdar village, as well as in Deir al-Balah and the Maghazi refugee camp, local sources said.
The incursions were accompanied by heavy Israeli gunfire towards Palestinian homes in the areas.
Targeting a displacement camp
In southern Gaza, a Palestinian was also wounded in an Israeli drone strike targeting a person inside a displacement camp in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, according to a medical source.
The attacks come amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which has been in effect since October 10, 2025.
Since the ceasefire took effect, Israeli attacks have killed 1,303 Palestinians and wounded 4,336 others, while rescue teams have recovered hundreds of bodies from beneath the rubble, according to Palestinian figures.
Live ammunition at civilians
Meanwhile, two Palestinians, including a 15-year-old child, were wounded by Israeli army fire in Al-Bireh in the central occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
The group said its crews treated two people wounded by live ammunition in the Al-Amari refugee camp.
The child was among those injured, while a young Palestinian man was shot in the foot. Both were taken to hospital for treatment.
Israeli forces carry out near-daily raids across the occupied West Bank, frequently involving gunfire, home raids and arrests.
Israeli military operations and attacks by illegal settlers have intensified across the occupied territory since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza in October 2023, alongside the expansion of illegal settlements and increased restrictions on Palestinian movement.
