The US embassy in Saudi Arabia said staff working in the kingdom would now be required to request permission to use airports in the cities of Jeddah and Dammam, days after a similar order was issued for Riyadh.
"US government employees working in Saudi Arabia require special authorisation to use the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, as well as the airports in Jeddah and Dammam," read a statement published online following fatal attacks on Riyadh airport.
Bangladesh has strongly condemned a Houthi attack on Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport, expressing solidarity with Saudi Arabia.
The victims included two Bangladeshi nationals, according to Saudi civil aviation authorities.
Israeli air strikes have destroyed four Palestinian homes in Gaza City and Deir al Balah, damaging dozens of nearby buildings, according to witnesses and local sources.
Residents received evacuation warnings by phone, prompting panic and forcing dozens of families to flee.
The strikes targeted areas in Shujaiya and Al Rimal in Gaza City, as well as a home belonging to the Al-Buhaysi family in Deir al-Balah. A separate strike hit unoccupied agricultural land near Salah al-Din Street, east of Deir al-Balah.

The announcement came about two hours after the coalition reported a projectile falling near King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, eastern Saudi Arabia.

Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned a deadly attack on the Saudi capital's international airport that was blamed on Yemen's Houthis.
"Attacks targeting civilians and vital infrastructure are utterly unacceptable and pose a serious threat to regional peace and stability," Sharif posted on X, describing the attack as "heinous" and reaffirming Pakistan's "steadfast commitment to Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, territorial integrity".
Schools in Riyadh will move to remote learning for a week, according to an email sent Sunday to parents citing an order from the education ministry, following the deadly attacks on the capital's airport.
"Following instructions from the Ministry of Education, all schools in Riyadh will switch to distance learning for the entire week," read an email sent to parents seen by AFP, marking the second time in less than a month that such an order was given.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) said it disabled a commercial cargo vessel in the Gulf of Oman.
CENTCOM said in a statement on Saturday "the ship's crew ignored repeated warnings and attempted to run the ongoing naval blockade against Iran." The US military says the operation was carried out "without harming the crew".
UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg condemned deadly Houthi militia strikes on civilian airports in Saudi Arabia, calling them "a grave escalation".
Grundberg said the attacks threaten regional security, fuel violence and further complicate peace efforts in Yemen.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Washington "strongly condemns" Houthi militia attacks on Saudi Arabia, including the Saturday attack on King Khalid International airport in Riyadh.
"These reprehensible attacks demonstrate a blatant disregard for innocent civilian life. They must stop now," Rubio wrote on X.

Coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki called the strike a war crime under international humanitarian law.

The Pentagon has raised the official death toll of US troops linked to military operations against Iran to 21, acknowledging that two additional deaths had not previously been included in its figures.
As of Friday, the Defense Casualty Analysis System listed 21 military deaths connected to the operations, according to The Washington Post.
The newly included deaths involved Sorffly Davius, 46, an Army National Guard member who died in Kuwait on March 6, and an unidentified Navy service member who died by suicide in September, the newspaper reported.
The updated figures also showed that 865 US service members had been wounded during the operations.
US President Donald Trump has said he would soon decide whether to join Saudi strikes against the Houthi militia after an attack on Riyadh's international airport.
"We may. We're going to look at it. We just found out about the recent attack, so we'll make a decision," Trump told reporters at the White House.
"We move very quickly."
The Yemeni army has said that it killed more than 1,150 Houthi militia members in over 1,900 strikes across several fronts in the past 24 hours.
Majid Abdullah al-Nuzaili, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, said on X that the military carried out the strikes under Operation Dawn of Yemen across the eastern, western and southwestern fronts.
He said the strikes targeted weapons and ammunition depots, fortifications, military camps and positions, strategic high ground, reinforcements, assembly areas, artillery positions, transport and supply vehicles, and "high-value" military targets deep inside Houthi-held territory.
Citing preliminary battlefield assessments, Nuzaili claimed the operations "neutralised more than 1,150 militants."
Airlines cancel flights to the Saudi capital, while the airport urges passengers to check flight schedules.


Iran's Revolutionary Guard has said that an oil tanker had exploded and caught fire after hitting a naval mine while transiting the Strait of Hormuz, Iranian state media reported.
The Guards did not specify the tanker's name or flag
The UAE National Guard said it rescued 22 Asian nationals after a fire broke out aboard an oil tanker in Gulf waters.
In a statement, the National Guard said its Coast Guard Group received a distress call from the tanker's crew reporting a fire on board and immediately launched a response operation.
Specialised teams located the vessel, reached it and rescued all 22 crew members, the statement said.
The rescued crew members received first aid before being handed over to the relevant authorities.
All 22 were reported to be in stable condition.
The British Embassy in Riyadh issued a warning following what it described as a serious incident at the Riyadh airport.
"Following a serious incident at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on 10 October 2026, we advise British nationals to avoid King Khalid International Airport until the airport is secure and to monitor the advice of the Saudi authorities," it said on X.
