Staying in the US, people are bracing for the coldest Christmas in more than four decades, as a major winter storm sweeps across North America. Around 100 million people in 37 states are expected to be hit by extreme weather. Thousands of flights have been delayed or cancelled causing chaos at airports as people try to head home for the holidays.
