World Bank donors approve $280M for UN agencies to help Afghans
World Bank donors have approved the transfer of 280 million dollars in aid to support health and nutrition services in Afghanistan. The US and other donors cut off financial aid when the Taliban overran the country in August. Millions of Afghans are facing extreme hunger and famine - especially with winter setting in.
