Taiwan loses another ally to China
China is using its economic power to influence allies of Taiwan to become its own allies instead. Taiwan has formal political relations with under twenty countries. China is putting pressure on Taiwan because it considers it to be subject to Chinese sovereignty. The newest country to swap over is El Salvador.
