Dr. Enver Tohti was born and raised in China’s Xinjiang province, but he now lives in exile in London. He worked as a surgeon in Xinjiang and has been speaking out about how he witnessed prisoners being executed. Tohti describes to Imran Garda how he was forced by Chinese authorities to harvest one prisoner’s organs and says life for his fellow Uyghurs in Xinjiang is “hell” on earth.
