Pakistan's Supreme Court declares former PM Imran Khan's arrest illegal
Pakistan's Supreme Court has ordered the immediate release of former prime minister Imran Khan, declaring his arrest illegal. Khan was taken into custody outside the High Court in Islamabad on Tuesday. His dramatic arrest triggered violent protests in several cities, leaving at least five people dead and many injured.
