UN draws attention to foodborne diseases on Food Safety Day
The United Nations is observing World Food Safety Day on Wednesday in an effort to draw attention to global food standards. Foodborne diseases are a growing problem, affecting one in 10 people each year. Peter Alexander from University of Edinburgh weighs in.
