Innovation drives Turkish automotive industry despite challenges
First, the COVID-19 pandemic, then multiple crises such as supply chain disruptions, chip shortages, and rising energy costs… The global automotive industry has been navigating through a labyrinth of challenges over the past couple of years. But amidst this landscape of uncertainty, companies are adapting to new technologies to drive innovation while marching towards massive transformation. We spoke to Okan Bas, the head of Turkish commercial vehicles manufacturer Karsan, and he said that electrification would continue to dominate the sector in the future.
