The sky is the limit for Türkiye’s defence industry. That's the view of the country's top aerospace company, which saw the successful test flight of the country's first indigenous fighter. Dubbed KAAN, which means 'king of kings' in the old Turkic language, the fifth-generation jet has high ambitions. But what set off its need in the first place? Zeynep Gokce reports.
