Asia-Pacific markets are mostly higher today, tracking gains on wall street last night. Japan's Nikkei 225 reached a fresh high, rising by 1.9% - while the broad-based Topix added 0.91%. Meanwhile, South Korea's Kospi made small gains, as shares of Samsung Electronics increased, despite the company's largest union continuing its three-day strike, Hyundai on the other hand reached a wage agreement with its labor union, averting a strike.
