Russia declares state of federal emergency amid ongoing clashes
Further north, Russia has declared a state of emergency in the border region of Kursk as it tries to repel a major push by Ukrainian troops. Washington has reaffirmed its support for Kyiv, while thousands of residents on the front line have started to flee. Bassam Bounenni reports.
