Türkiye celebrates 101st anniversary of the Republic
October 29 marks 101 years since the founding of the Turkish Republic. The national holiday follows days after a PKK terrorist attack in the capital Ankara. But this isn't the first time the country's national security has been tested. The nation was born after years of struggles on the battlefield. Asli Atbas takes a look.
