Indians splurge three times their annual income on weddings
It’s peak wedding season in India, which boasts more weddings than anywhere else. But they don’t come cheap. According to a recent report, an average Indian family spends more than 14,000 dollars on a wedding - that’s three times their yearly income. Smita Sharma reports on India's big fat wedding industry.
