12-year-old Palestinian boy shot and detained by Israeli forces
A 12-year-old Palestinian boy cried on the phone with his mother while awaiting treatment at a hospital after being injured by Israeli forces. The boy, named Nemir, was out collecting food in besieged Gaza when Israeli forces shot him, then detained him for two months, abusing him while he was in their custody, before finally releasing him.
