Türkiye coordinates extensive prisoner exchange between Russia and the West

Türkiye has recently coordinated the “most extensive prisoner exchange” since the Cold War, including 26 individuals from 7 countries. Türkiye has played an active mediating role between Russia and other countries, including a swap deal with Ukraine in 2022.
